Round two is now open

First of all, thank you for your interest in ConnectNYC! The first round closed in December 2012, and connected 29 companies with high-speed Internet through Time Warner Cable Business Class and Cablevision, with several more companies currently in negotiations. We recognize how important secure and reliable high-speed Internet is to growing companies, and are excited to launch the second round of the ConnectNYC Fiber Access program this month.

As a result of the great feedback shared in the first round, we've made changes to the program to help more businesses connect to fiber infrastructure.

Important change to the rules

Thanks for supporting the ConnectNYC Fiber Challenge! To make it easier to complete your submission in time, we’ve recently made an amendment to the rules, and added resources to help you reach out to your landlord.

Landlord Agreement no longer required to submit

Contestants are no longer required to submit a signed Landlord Agreement with their submission to be eligible for the competition. However, finalists will be required to provide a hand-signed Landlord Agreement after receiving notification that they are a potential finalist. Please note: contestants will not advance to Phase II of the evaluation process without this signed agreement.…

Did you know that 30% of your ConnectNYC Fiber Challenge submission score is weighted based on the Potential for Industry Clustering? This means that you can make your entry more competitive by rallying nearby businesses to participate in the competition!
